Controller’s Group isn’t a typical recruiting agency that treats you like a number. I had the pleasure of working with Tracy Pelley, who was easy to talk to and took the time to genuinely understand where I wanted to take my career and what I was hoping to find in my next position. I had to quickly hire a replacement to an employee who resigned very shortly after joining my team (this was a big surprise).  Controller's Group provided me with a number of high quality candidates in a very short period. They supported me through the interview process and helped me to design an attractive compensation package that helped both us and the candidate come to an agreement very quickly. Personally, both Johnny and Tracy are super nice, very responsive, always available and ready to help. I highly recommend Controller's Group if you are looking for Controllers or Accountants. Dec 28th update: not only that I'm extremely happy with the candidate we hired four weeks ago, Controller's Group reached out today to check how the candidate is doing and also share feedback they received from the candidate about the first few weeks in the job. I was fortunate that Tracy Pelley reached out to me.  She coached me with interview tips that helped me get a good job at a good company and work for a good manager! Tracy is an experienced knowledgeable professional in her trade.  She is down to earth, easy to talk with and have good sense of humor that makes her pleasantly approachable.  I heard good things about her from my present boss who has known her for years.  Controller Group team have contacted me several times in the past and I have good experience with them over the years.  Both Tracy and John are excellent and reliable at their staffing. Overall speaking the entire office, staffing and accounting, are helpful, patient and pleasant to work with. I always have a great experience working with the Controllers group.  For over 20 years they Tracy has assisted me with finding top candidates.  Tracy is amazing, she listens and knows what I am looking for in a candidate and always gives me the people who are not only a good fit technically but they work well with my personality and complement the teams as well.  She never sends me just a warm body but a very thoroughly vetted candidate that she knows personally. Over the years, I've gotten to know the team at CGI quite well and they have maintained a high level of 'customer support' whether you are the recruiter or interviewee. They are niche in what they do and truly understand who you are and what you're looking for in. It's hard to find a recruiter that understands the business and also cares enough to land someone a job that is fulfilling (outside of a paycheck). I was introduced to Matt when I was looking for a job in the bay area. He took his time to get to know me, what I was looking for in my next job and also invited me into their office which was off Alameda in San Jose at the time. This was their way in making sure they found a role that was right for me and the companies I was interviewing with. First impressions were good. I landed a great job and when it was time for my next opportunity, Matt was there to assist.
